Anti-aging products: Check Those Labels
Anti-aging products often have toxic ingredients, so it's a good idea to read your labels to watch out for heavy metals, for example. Another ingredient to avoid is imidazolidinyl urea, which tends to form formaldehyde - dangers include causing cancer and weakening the immune system.
We looked for anti-aging trial sizes that had good, low hazard scores on the EWG cosmetic database. If we couldn't find the exact product in the database, we checked the main ingredients. Here's what we found:
