Safer Sunscreens

EWG recommended safer sunscreens for your family, so I bought some trial sizes (see Skin Care on this web site for trial sizes of (some of) the EWG's recommended sunscreens).  My family and I tried Alba Botanica's Kids Sunscreen SPF 30, AquaSport performance (spray), and Beyond Coastal Mineral Based SPF 30. As I'd heard, these safer sunscreens can be harder to rub in, especially if they're zinc-based. My kids really had a problem with the Beyond Coastal, but once it rubs in, it works well. Alba Botanica is easier to rub in. All of them are effective. I like the TerraSport spray for things like the part in your hair, but I am skeptical of how they work if you spray all over your body so I use the lotion for everywhere else.
